POSITION SUMMARY
The Implementation Support Lead supports IFAC’s efforts to translate advocacy, regulatory, and policy insights into practical tools, resources, and communications for global stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of Advocacy, Regulatory, and Policy, this role ensures that IFAC’s outputs are consistent, actionable, accessible, and effectively support stakeholder engagement and policy influence. This role involves coordinating projects, developing user-friendly materials, maintaining content updates, and assisting with events and engagement activities that help members and stakeholders apply insights from IFAC’s work.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, if an applicant is US-based, provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also be able to enroll in our company’s 401 (k) plan, as well as a deferred compensation plan, provided they meet plan requirements.

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At IFAC, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for candidates in the NY-Metropolitan region is $120,000 to $150,000.

- Develop and oversee technical input to the independent international standard-setting boards (in particular, the IAASB and IESBA).
- Support the development of international standard implementation support, including overseeing quality and technical rigor, launch, and promotion.
- Leverage data analysis to interpret stakeholder feedback, including comment letters, to build compelling business cases that inform implementation strategies.
- Support planning to translate policy insights, regulatory developments, and advocacy outcomes into usable tools and resources for IFAC’s members and stakeholders.
- Assist in developing toolkits, guidance documents, infographics, slide decks, informational documents, and other materials to support stakeholder engagement and external communications.
- Support the management of implementation projects and roadmaps, tracking progress, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
- Work closely with teams across Advocacy, Policy, Research, Communications, and Membership to align messaging and deliverables for global audiences.
- Assist in preparing materials for stakeholder meetings, policy dialogues, webinars, and events, including logistics and follow-up documentation.
- Develop materials for workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at implementing policy and advocacy initiatives.
- Contribute ideas to enhance formats, processes, and the usability of implementation resources.
- Organize records, version histories, and project documentation for all implementation-related activities.
- Track and monitor the work programs of international standard-setting boards to ensure alignment with priorities and inform the development of implementation resources.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Public Policy, Communications, International Relations, Accountancy, Business, or a related field. CPA, preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in project coordination, implementation support, communications, or resource development, ideally in a policy, advocacy, nonprofit, or professional association environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accessible materials for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with digital collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, project management software).
- Expertise in data analysis and interpreting data to inform business decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders, including officials from external organizations and governments.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, including those imposed externally.
- Commitment to quality processes and high-quality deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with flexibility especially important.
- Comfort working with complex or technical subject matter and making it accessible to broader audiences.
- Experience with content management systems, email platforms, or social media tools.
- Familiarity with accounting, regulation, or public interest policy.
